The Keller ISD Early Childhood PTA (KECPTA) has been around since 1983. We are a part the Texas PTA as well as the National PTA. We just happen to be designed for parents of young children from infancy to kindergarten. We share the same mission as the National PTA. To be a powerful voice for all children, to be a relevant resource for families and communities and to be a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child. Our goal is to address the needs of families with young children through informative speakers, social activities for the parents and children and the friendly support of other parents.

Are you new to the area, to motherhood or just need a resource of people that understand what it means to be the parent of a young child? We are the group for you! We have monthly meetings with speakers on a variety of topics that reach us where we are here and now. For the children, we have age appropriate playgroups, year round children’s activities, opportunities to attend children’s theater performances and holiday parties. For the adults, we have Mom’s Night Out, Walking Club, Scrapbooking and we support our parents in times of need with our Sunshine committee that provides meals and cards for new moms or other special needs. Our group also provides free parenting classes twice a year using the Love and Logic curriculum and we are active in several community service projects throughout the year.
